[sic] presents ‘Same River Twice’, an experimental, psychological urban-horror short film. The film is a study of perception, exploring how characters can perceive the same conversation differently and ultimately, how the viewer can perceive the events of the film differently.
Two flatmates argue over the events of the previous night. Who are they talking about? What happened?
The scene repeats but now with a third character. Everything they say is the same but the interjections of this mystery character change our understanding.
The scene repeats again and now there is a fourth, sinister other-worldly addition to the conversation. Each scene is the same, yet different, revealing more about the plot each time before the film reaches an ambiguous, startling and chilling climax.
